Sven received his B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine in London, UK and the Center for Molecular Biology, University of Heidelberg, Germany. He did Postdoctoral research at the University of Heidelberg and at R.W. Johnson Pharmaceutical Research Institute (San Diego, CA, USA). He is Co-author of Epigenomics' basic patent.
Ulrich received his Diplom (Masters) in Biochemistry in 1995 from Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany. He earned his Ph.D. at the Charité University Clinic, Berlin, Germany, in 1998, and was honored with the Charité Research Award in 1997. Ulrich completed business school in Berlin, Germany and Cambridge, UK from 2002 to 2004. Prior to founding Epiontis, he worked at Jerini AG, Berlin, Germany from 1999 to 2003, most recently as Director of Business Development.
Michael studied Chemistry at Technical University Dresden (Diploma) from 1980 to 1985 and held an Assistant Professor position from 1985 to 1990. From 1990 to 1994 he was Member of the State Parliament of Saxony and held several positions at the City Council of Leipzig. 1993 to 1999 Michael was Managing Director of the Municipal Holding Management and Consulting Company BBVL in Leipzig. Since 1999 Michael was Managing Partner and since 2002 he is CEO of BRIDGES Consulting Group AG, Berlin, Germany. In May 2005, Michael was appointed Chief Financial Officer at Epiontis, a position he pursues alongside his activites at BRIDGES.
